Just what our family needed
5/5 STAR Stayed May 2014, Leanne C.; A beautiful spot for a family getaway. This cottage was beautiful inside and out with a huge yard and view of the river. It was very clean and well kept. The beds are very comfortable. They even have a nice trail down to the water. We wish we had booked it for a longer stay. The owners were very accommodating as we had to book short notice. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family and plan to stay here again ourselves.

Lisa was very accommodating, with numerous little touches inside and out. It was beyond our expectations, we would recommend this cottage to everyone!

The location is close to the city but far enough away from the hustle and bustle that you can relax and unwind if you want to. The house's interior was super cute, amenities worked great, and bed's were super comfortable. All the cooking utensils you could ever need were provided. The view of the water is amazing! The fire pit was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed this feature every night of our vacation. Also highly recommend taking a relaxing swing in the hammocks. Thank you Lisa!!

5/5 STAR Stayed Aug. 2017, Mark H. Hartland M., We were so happy. It was spotlessly clean! Everything was new and updated. You are secluded and private yet 20 min to Charlottetown. Very roomy. We stayed with my husband and our 3 teenagers. Beach towels, beach blankets games, They have literally thought of everything !! Rebooking for next year now! It was superb!!! Highly recommended. We traveled from Michigan and this place was like a mini paradise!!
Amazing trip!
5/5 STAR Stayed Jul. 2018 Dani H.Toronto We drove down for a family road trip from Toronto and we had an amazing time here, the home was so clean when we arrived and the house was fully set up with everything we could need. The very cozy setup overall and loved the setup, the living room sofa overlooks a beautiful landscape outside of the walk outdoors which is where we spent most of our time in the house. I would definitely come back here again the next time we go down which is hopefully soon.

We had our family of four and my parents. The layout of the home was perfect for space, rest, and privacy. The extra bathroom sink/storage area beside the two bedrooms made it perfect for getting ready! We packed way too much as the owner has truly thought of everything you would ever use for everyday living and vacation. There is an abundance of everything (luxury linens, appliances, amazing mattresses and more). The owner has gone above and beyond to ensure that you feel the luxury of a quality updated vacation home but has incorporated the true feeling of home. So many special touches of a beautiful family heritage. We love our house back home and enjoy the private lake but there is just something that is truly peaceful about this vacation home. The location is absolutely perfect! You certainly get the best of both worlds as you have a quiet oasis but are just minutes away from the "PEI highlights". We had to drop off our son to college so we combined our trip into a family holiday. We were telling the international student coordinator from Holland college about our amazing vacation home and he just had to check it out. He was also very impressed and said he was thankful to be able to have this place to recommend to future families. We have already passed on recommendations to our friends and family back home. If we ever get the privilege to stay for a week in PEI again we can't imagine staying anywhere else. It was a blessing and a gift to our entire family to stay at the Westville Villa. We will be forever grateful!

The cottage is well-equipped and very private. We enjoyed watching a family of quails and nesting falcons on the property.The location, 15 minutes from Charlottetown, 10 minutes from 2 golf courses and 10 minutes from Canoe Cove beach makes it a great choice for families, golfers, and those wanting access to the theatres and culture offered in Charlottetown. We found it a perfect location for exploring the north, east and west ends of the Island. It was so nice to return at the end of the day to this peaceful setting. Truly heavenly!
Excellent rental; secluded with all the amenities

We were able to make our own breakfasts in the full kitchen which was so very appreciated when travelling so many kilometers. The comfort factor of the home as well as the thoughtful decorating made it a perfect vacation spot. Definitely highly recommended from our standpoint.

We were 2 families of 4 and there was lots of space and room for all. The kids enjoyed the swing and tire swing.

Waking up every day to the stunning view of the West River and a full kitchen to cook breakfast was the perfect way to start our days before heading out to explore the sights. The cottage's central location made day trips convenient, and shops were all close by with some great recommendations left for us by the owners. The property itself is vast, beautiful, and relaxing. We made several walks to the water to walk the beach and get a closer look at the falcons nest. In short, we loved the place! The rental process was made easy by the owners. They made everything clear from start to finish; we even had a small plumbing problem that was taken care of by the owners and property managers almost immediately. Thank you so much for sharing your property with us. Highly recommended to anyone visiting PEI.
We made the right choice!

This was our (myself, my husband and our 7 year old twins) first visit to the island and we don't tend to over-plan our vacations, so location is always a key factor. Lisa's property is not only gorgeous, but it is in an excellent location. Super close to a gas station/convenience/ice cream store and only a short drive to everything else imaginable. We took advantage of most of the amenities on site...fire pit, tire swings, hammock and huge yard. The riverfront was perfect for morning beachcombing and there are several other options close-by. I can't think of anything we needed that wasn't available in the house, and we do a lot of cooking! Privacy was top notch. Beds were comfortable. The entire place was very clean. We've all agreed that we will return to PEI and to Westville Vista!

We had a day of rainy coastal weather where we cuddled inside and made a wonderful dinner with the full kitchen and one stunning sunny day where we napped in hammocks, explored beaches and had an amazing BBQ dinner. The place was easy to find and very clean and tidy on arrival. Loved how there was oil and salt and pepper (plus a few other essentials) in the cupboards. Wonderfully equipped kitchen and with the grocer a five minute drive away we easily had everything we needed. PEI is a beautiful destination everyone should see and after a long day of exploring this is the wonderful place you want to come home to, and then wake up to to energize you for the next day. We highly recommend, had a wonderful stay!

5/5 STAR Stayed Jun. 2015, Laurie and Todd T.; Wow! Such a beautiful home! Plenty of space inside and out. We were able to easily access grocery stores, liquor store, drug store.....with-in minutes. Our kids loved to beach comb morning and evening, and got plenty of use out of the tire swings! The bonfire pit was a plus! Our favourite part was the view, morning coffee right outside the master bedroom each day. A very tranquil, peaceful place. We will definitely be returning!

5/5 STAR Stayed Oct. 2014, Michael K.; Quality throughout, cozy and inviting, spectacular view from the comfortable master bedroom. You can see the moon and stars from the bed in the master bedroom. The kitchen had everything you would like to have for a quick lunch or if you were having a dinner party. All sorts of closet and storage space. If you don't find everything you need, then all I can say is that you didn't look for it hard enough. This kind of privacy is very rarely to be found anywhere, and yet you feel so very safe and secure. Speaking from experience of staying in many different vacation cottages, many here on the Island, I can say that this has been superb. If you are looking for great value and an enjoyable stay, look no further. Would stay here again.
Wow!!

We visited the island but we could’ve stayed all week at the house and it would've been a perfect vacation too. We were lucky enough to see a shooting star the first night and later that week we admired the sunset on one side and a rainbow on the other!! The house is perfect for a family. Lots of things to do. Just WOW!

A cold buster early spring trip,
5/5 STAR Stayed May 2014; this cottage is located down a private lane with a great view and location, the cottage is well equipped , we were the first to rent it after the winter and the cottage was very clean and warm and welcoming my 4 boys loved exploring down by the river's edge and playing soccer in the garden, it's a great location to explore charlottetown and the south shore of pei we would definitely stay here again even though it snowed one day when we were there in MAY!!
The Way a Holiday Should Be

Convenient to parks, beaches, sights of interest, eating establishments, shopping . . . And when you turn into the lane, it's like entering a separate world . . . The "busy" of today simply goes away . .
Cottage with a perfect view,

With binoculars you can sit and enjoy the falcons nest, herons, grouse, fish rising in the bay. good location to travel the south of the island. shops, restaurants etc just minutes away. Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break. The weather was awful but the family still managed a paddle in the ocean and lots of pub grub. we will come again hopefully when mother nature cooperates!
Really liked the Location
4/5 STAR Stayed Aug. 2019, Douglas B. Really liked the location and closeness to Charlottetown - far enough away to feel remote and on our own, yet close enough to enjoy a quick run into town. Also most of the main attractions on the island were within an hour of the cottage. The only issue was mosquitos - even with citronella candles and coils we could not sit outside after 5pm - but I understand this was an issue throughout the island. Mornings when still cold, I could enjoy about 3 hours bug free.

The DVDs could only be played in the bunk room, not helpful for family viewing. Nice place for folks wanting to really get away from it all, including the TV and DVDs of course. Very pastoral.
